Book a picnic table after your trek

Please note this is an add-on option to the end of your trek, so you must have booked a trek and added it to your basket. 

We now offer picnic facilities at John Muir Alpacas, so you can book a table and have your picnic in our giant tipi tents after your trek if you wish!

The idea is you come along, have your trek, and at the end when you are finished and in need of a wee break, head off into our magical tipis to have a picnic near your new furry friends 🙂  It’s a one of a kind picnic place you will never forget!

Picnic sessions cost £10 per child and £10 per adult. Please note we don’t provide the food ourselves, but you can choose to either bring your own lunch, or else we’ve provided details for The Food Hamper below, which is a great local food supplier we support.

We have a meal-deal with the amazing Food Hamper, Dunbar, where they can make you up kids picnic boxes for £3.50 each, or £5.40 per adult, for collection on Dunbar High Street. If you want to have your food order customised, they’d be happy to work with you to advise what’s available.

Please note The Food Hamper need at least 24 hours notice to book orders in – just let us know when you are booking if you’re having a food delivery.

Treks last approximately 1 hour, so if you booked the 1pm trek, simply choose the 2pm picnic 🙂
