Watch our video!

Here is a short video we made of the alpacas settling in at their lovely new home, and enjoying some of their first walks around the beautiful countryside.

Glasshouse Wedding!

We were asked by bride to be Juliette, if the alpacas would make a special appearance at the Glasshouse in Edinburgh, to surprise her wedding guests. This would involve them going up in a lift to the lawned deck on the roof of the Playhouse! We weren’t too sure if the alpacas would refuse to […]

LEADER funding approval

We are thrilled to be able to announce the opening of John Muir Alpacas! Thanks to the lovely folks at Tyne-Esk LEADER who have lent their support for this wonderful and rewarding project in the form of setup advise and a grant! Our alpaca project has been in development for just over 9 months now, and the […]

Here comes the summer!

Finally Dunbar is living up to it’s sunny reputation. The boys are loving the change in weather and enjoying sunny afternoon trips out and visits to the beach. #AlpacasInTraining #SunnyDunny

The arrival!

They’re here! The boys arrived today, unfortunately the weather was a wee bit wet but it didn’t stop them setting in quickly. We’re so excited to have them here. Now down to some trekking training through the woods! Here’s some photos of the arrival and our first ventures out.

Hello Alpacas!

We went to meet our amazing new herd of Alpacas yesterday. They are incredibly cute and loveable! Some of them are still being weaned at the moment, so we’ll have to hold tight until they’re ready to make the trip over the border to sunny Scotland. We can not wait until their arrival! Here’s a […]
